California International Harvester Collectors Foundation: The foundation was formed by IH Collectors Chapter 14 Inc and is in northern California for public and charitable funding on the collection, restoration, and displaying of International Harvester equipment, machinery, and other items of historic interest. The purpose of the foundation is:

  • To fund, restore, and preserve the history of International Harvester Company across the USA.
  • To fund the sharing of information, ideas, and history of IH.
  • To fund an atmosphere of sharing our IH farm heritage through youth organizations, such FFA and 4-H.

Is the foundation exempt? The foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and the State of California as a 501c3 charitable tax-exempt organization, with all donations being tax deductible. The foundation became exempt on April 22, 2006 with the federal government. Our federal ID is 27-0123839. Donations are deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. The California tax exemption number is 98-02162, effective August 6, 2006.

The foundation’s purpose will help fund youth projects that are underway through FFA chapters and 4-H clubs. Forty+ youth projects have been funded to date with various FFA chapters throughout California. Oakdale HS FFA has its project underway in 2023. Our 42nd project is launched with Woodland HS FFA using a classic Farmall Cub tractor in the classroom to be completed this summer.

Will I get a receipt for my donation? Yes. Whether a cash or noncash donation we will provide a tax receipt. We suggest you get an appraisal for any tractors you wish to donate to our foundation that will end up at a local school for restoration.

Your tax-deductible donation will help the foundation’s purpose and goals, and potentially hundreds of high school youth involved in FFA and 4-H.
